Treatment of Proctitis in Allahabad
What is Proctitis?
Inflammation of rectum and anus. It may be acute or chronic with rectal discomfort and repeated urge to evacuate the rectum accompanied by inability to pass feces.
Symptoms of Proctitis:
Mucus, blood, or pus may be present in the stools and there may be tenesmus.
Causes of Proctitis:
Unknown but related to the patient's reaction to stress that induces changes in the motility pattern of the intestinal tract.
